Wellington Management is a Boston-based private and independent investment management firm incorporated in 1933, and now manages over US$1tn of assets globally. Wellington advocates a research-driven approach, long-term thinking, and collaborative team-based investment.

The Wellington Global Quality Growth Fund is an actively managed fund seeking long-term total returns in excess of the MSCI ACWI Index, by investing in equities primarily in global developed markets and up to 30% in emerging markets, with no market cap and currency constraints. The fund mainly adopts a bottom-up investment approach with a top-down macroeconomic overlay. Top-down process uses Wellington’s proprietary Global Cycle Index to assess the state of the global economic cycle to tailer the fund’s positioning accordingly. Bottom-up stock selection process is based on 4 drivers - quality, growth, total capital return, and valuation upside - to assess the relative attractiveness of companies. Stocks are also evaluated on free cash flow-based quality and earning revisions to avoid stocks with deteriorating fundamentals. ESG evaluation is integrated throughout the investment process. The fund has a portfolio of >65 holdings.
