The Fidelity Global Dividend Fund is an actively managed fund that seeks to achieve capital growth over the long term and provide income, by investing in primarily in income producing global developed and emerging markets equities, with no market cap or currency constraints. The fund uses an unconstrained bottom-up approach to invest in companies that offer a healthy dividend yield underpinned by a growing level of income, as well as the potential for capital growth. Stock selection emphasises on sustainability of the dividend through predictable, consistent cash flows and simple, understandable business models with little or no debt on their balance sheets. ESG considerations are integrated in the investment process. The fund has a concentrated portfolio of >40 holdings.
