iShares is the market leader in the ETFs and passive index funds space, managing over US$5tn of AUM through more than 1600 ETFs offered globally. iShares is a subsidiary of BlackRock, the largest asset manager globally.

The iShares Listed Private Equity UCITS ETF is a passive index solution that tracks the S&P Listed Private Equity Index (Net) using a full physical replication approach. The index measures the performance of companies traded on developed market exchanges whose primary business is private equity investing as determined by S&P DJI. This includes mezzanine debt, venture capital investing, buy-outs, seed investing, and other forms of principal investing in unlisted entities. Holding companies with significant private equity holdings or specialty companies that have a specific private equity niche in areas such as retailing, energy, or intellectual property commercialisation are also included. Selected stocks need to have a market cap of >$150m, with trading liquidity and volume as defined by the index. The ETF has ~100 holdings similar to the index.
