About Das Family Office FairSheets

Independent fund research, published for the curious investor.

Who we are

Das Family Office is a Singapore-based multi-family office founded in 2018 by Mario Becker. We serve a small number of ultra-high-net-worth families on long-term investment strategy, fund selection, and portfolio construction. Our work is independent — we do not accept retrocessions or commissions from any fund manager, and we are not tied to any bank.

FairSheets FairSheets is the public face of our research. Each page on this site is a fund fact sheet that we maintain for our own internal use, refreshed quarterly with institutionally-sourced numerical data and re-reviewed continuously by our research team.

What a FairSheet is

A FairSheet is a single-fund document combining:

  • Editorial view — our hand-written notes on why this fund matters, who runs it, and where it fits.
  • Descriptive data — ISIN, share class, currency, total expense ratio, sustainability classification, distribution policy.
  • Performance data — fund-vs-asset-class-vs-FairHorizon-benchmark over multiple windows.
  • Diversification — sector, geography, plus either credit-rating breakdown (for bond and multi-asset funds) or top-10 holdings (for pure-equity funds).
  • FairHorizon classification — one of six time-horizon-based buckets (Purple through Red).

Why we publish them

The fact sheets that fund managers themselves publish are written to sell. They highlight the metrics that look best, hide the ones that don't, and rarely place the fund in the context of credible alternatives. We wrote our FairSheets to fix that — first for our own clients, and now for anyone interested in independent perspective.

We do not earn money from these pages. There are no affiliate links, no paid placements, and no "premium tier". If a FairSheet helps a prospect understand how we think — and they decide to engage us — that is its highest function.

Data and updates

Numerical data on every FairSheet is sourced from leading institutional financial data providers and refreshed manually. The "Last updated" line on each fund page shows the most recent refresh date for that fund's cache. Editorial content is reviewed at least quarterly and substantively updated whenever fund managers materially change strategy.

Our forward-looking views are published as Reflections — short opinionated commentaries on equities, bonds, commodities, currencies, and what we think investors should do next. The reviews are written primarily for our existing client community and made public here.

The community

We refer to our clients and readers collectively as the Das Family Office community. The phrasing matters: we have built something more akin to a research collective than a transactional private bank. Members receive personalised portfolio reviews, early access to research, and direct contact with Mario, CH, and our team.

If FairSheets is the open part of our work, the community is the closed part — and the way to get in is simply to get in touch.
